questions and answers

Blister machines are pharmaceutical, herbal and nutraceutical packaging machines that allow products to be blister packed. Each blister pack is made up of a plastic sheet with spaces for solid pharmaceutical products, and a sealed metal strip that covers the product cells. Although this is a practical and economical form of packaging, blisters require a precisely controlled production process.

Blister machines produce blister packs by maintaining the correct parameters of size and temperature.

In particular, MultiGel laboratory blister machines are designed for:

  • galenic laboratories
  • cosmetic laboratories
  • nutraceutical laboratories
  • pharmaceutical industries

Blister machines can be either manual or automatic. In general, they carry out hot forming of the blister pack. First, the plastic film enters a pre-heating station where it is brought to a temperature at which it softens.

The heated film passes from this station to a high-pressure press, which forms the cells into which the solid products will be placed. The plastic is then allowed to cool, before proceeding with packaging. The characteristics and quality of blister machines depend on:

  • the quality of the blister packs made
  • ease of cleaning and maintenance
  • process speed

MultiGel blister machines are compact and functional and are designed and manufactured entirely in-house. From manual to automatic blister machines, MultiGel solutions guarantee flexibility and ease of use.

Formats can be changed easily and quickly, ideal for companies that need to produce small batches and frequently change format.

MultiGel automatic blister machines are also equipped with a control panel, allowing all the relative operations to be easily set. They also allow material trimmings to be wound onto a reel, avoiding unnecessary waste and cost.

  • a compact, space-saving design
  • reliability and durability
  • ease of use
  • easy cleaning
  • minimal maintenance
  • reliable and durable motors
  • made-in-MultiGel design, production and assembly
  • personalised configuration
