DATA CONTROLLER, DATA PROCESSOR AND DATA PROCESSORS

The Data Controller is Multigel srl. Any claims under Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/03 should be addressed to Multigel srl. The updated list of Personal Data Processors is available upon request. Within the Company, personal data will be processed by the persons in charge indicated in the aforementioned list.

TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures responsible for the operation of this portal acquire, in their normal operation and only for the duration of the connection, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected with the aim of associating it with identified data subjects but, by its very nature, could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, make it possible to identify visitor users (e.g. IP addresses), the domain names of the terminals used, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requesters, the time of requests, etc. These data, which are deleted immediately after processing, are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to monitor its proper functioning. Web contact data are retained up to a maximum of 7 days, barring any computer crimes against the sites. No data from the service will be disclosed or disseminated.

Cookies

General information about cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites visited by users send to their terminals (usually to the browser), where they are stored and then transmitted back to the same sites on each subsequent visit via the same terminal. In addition, each site may allow the transmission of so-called third-party cookies, i.e., those generated by websites other than the one the user is visiting (through objects on it such as banners, images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains).

Based on the entity in charge of which falls the management of cookies sent by a website, two types of cookies are therefore distinguished:
– first-party when they are managed directly by the owner and/or publisher of the website (Multigel srl)
– third-party when the cookies are managed by parties unrelated to the website visited by the user

Depending on their duration, they are distinguished into session cookies (i.e. those that are temporary and automatically deleted from the terminal at the end of the browsing session by closing the browser) and persistent cookies (i.e. those that remain stored on the terminal until they expire or are deleted by the user).

Cookies have different purposes and are also distinguished according to them. They are first and foremost used for the transmission of communication or to provide the service requested by the user; more specifically, they enable and optimize the operation of the website, perform computer authentication and prevent abuse, monitor sessions, improve the browsing experience of users, for example by keeping the connection to restricted areas active while browsing through the pages of the site without the need to re-enter User-Id and password and by storing specific information regarding the users themselves (including preferences, type of browser and computer used). The aforementioned cookies are called technical cookies (no user consent is required for their use), as without them some of the aforementioned operations could not be performed or would be more complex and/or less secure.

Differently, if the cookies are used for further purposes, typically for behavior analysis and sending personalized promotional/advertising messages (so-called profiling cookies) or even only to obtain, through services rendered by third parties, information in aggregate form on the number of users and how they visit the site (so-called analytics cookies), the user’s consent is required. In fact, before these cookies are sent to the terminal, in accordance with current legislation (Privacy Code and general provision of the Guarantor of June 5, 2015), at the time of accessing the home page or other page of the site, a banner is immediately shown in the foreground with an initial summary information on the use of cookies and the collection of consent, which the user can give by continuing navigation by selecting an element below the banner or closing the banner itself.

In any case, cookies can only be read or modified by the website that generated them; they cannot be used to retrieve any data from the user’s terminal and cannot transmit computer viruses. Some of the functions of cookies may also be performed by other technologies; therefore, in the context of this web privacy policy, the term cookiesi refers to cookies and all similar technologies.

Use of cookies on this site

This site uses the following cookies.

First-party cookies managed directly by the website:

a) saving authentication data via login session [sessionid]; duration: 15gg
b) saving cookie choices [hide-cookie-box]; duration: 30 days
c) securing data provided via contact forms [crsftoken]; duration: 1 year

Third-party, analytical cookies:

They collect anonymous/aggregated/statistical information about users who visit it. Multigel srl is limited, as a technical intermediary, to send these cookies but does not manage their operation (therefore has no control and access to the information provided/acquired) as their operation is the responsibility of the third party. The service used is Google’s analytics tool “Google Analytics” (for more details, see the policy present at this address), which uses the following cookies:
persistent, used for:
a) the distinction of the user ID [_ga]; duration: 2 years
b) request rate acceleration [_gat]; duration: 10 minutes

Management of cookie choices

Cookies can be managed by the user through their browser.
Users can manage their cookie preferences through features in common browsers (Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari), which allow them to delete/remove cookies (all or some) or to change the browser settings themselves so as to block cookies from being sent or to limit them to specific sites (as opposed to others). You can learn how to configure the browser settings (usually accessible from the “Tools” bar) by going to the “Support” web pages of the providers of these browsers (which can also be identified using a search engine).

Disabling cookies does not in itself preclude the use of website services; however, if all cookies, including technical cookies, are deleted/blocked, some operations could not be performed or would be more complex and/or less secure.

Data provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of one’s personal data in order to access certain services, or to make requests through electronic mail, entails the subsequent acquisition by Multigel srl of the sender’s address or any other personal data that will be processed exclusively to respond to the request or to provide the service.

OPTIONALITY OF PROVIDING DATA

Apart from that specified for navigation data, users/visitors are free to provide their personal data. Failure to provide them may only result in the impossibility of obtaining what has been requested.

PROCESSING METHODS

The personal data acquired, are processed through the use of automated tools and / or manually and only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data were collected. Multigel srl observes, however, the regulations in force in order to prevent data loss, illegal or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
